Children and Youth Religious Education
Our Mission
The mission of the Religious Education Program for children at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Meriden is to provide a welcoming environment in which all people, especially children and their parents, can learn about Unitarian Universalist principles in the context of other world religions and nurture their own sense of spirituality and values.
OUr Goals
The goals of our program are to provide a place where children:
- Will increase in self-respect and respect for others.
- Will develop a strong sense of community with each other and with the congregation as a whole.
- Learn Unitarian Universalist Principles, Sources and Values and practice them together during activities and service projects.
- Come together in joyous celebration of the spirit.
